Le Bar Baudelaire, part of the rather swish Hotel Burgundy, is everything a hotel should be: the perfect place to shelter from the city and enjoy a relaxing drink. It's a stylish yet tranquil space, low-lit and welcoming, with deep blue walls and an impressive ceiling mural by Marco Del Re inspired by Baudelaire's work (his possessions were actually auctioned off in the room). The bar carries some 60 types of cognac and there's a solid cocktail list with all the classics. Sink into one of comfy armchairs and indulge in a French 75. Prices are on the steep side but some things are worth splashing out on.
