One of the top craft beer bars in Amsterdam, BRET is based in an upandcoming area of Amsterdam near Sloterdijk Station. It’s a visually veru distinctive bar, housed in a bright red building built out of shipping containers. It’s impossible to miss. Inside it’s also pretty damn cool-looking, the interior is made from tree trunks and recycled material, the bar doubling as a beer garden and neighbourhood event space as well. BRET has taken their love of craft beer so far, that they even have hops growing on the side of the venue as well as other assorted greenery and will offer beerbrewing classes alongside flights and tasting sessions. There’s a huge range of beers available, of course, both on draft and in bottles, domestic brews and imported beers too, something for everyone – the bar tenders are knowledgeable and friendly, happy to give you tips, and here’s a nice laid-back vibe about the place which is really appealing. The Dutch bar snacks are also worthy of your attention.
