Brouwerij het IJ

They serve a range of their own beers as well as good selection of local cheeses to go with them. There are around a dozen different beers to sample, including lagers, wheat beers and the darkest of dark ales. Tasting flights are available for those wanting to try a large range – and these take the form of a wooden rack stocked with five mini tasting glasses of five different beers. Don’t forget the cheese. These are supplied by local farms and pair well with the beers. This is not a place to head for an all-nighter, as it closes in the evening, but if you want to sample a great range of Dutch beers you should check it out.
