A shrine to Dutch craft beer in Amsterdam, Tapzuid is home to one of the largest collections of taps in the country and a a menu full of tasty bar food.

Boasting one of the largest collections of beers on tap in the city, Tapzuid is one of the coolest new spots to sip good beer in Amsterdam.
For a long time, the Dutch capital was more associated with global behemoths in the brewing business than craft outfits, but that is all starting to change, and there’s no better place to sample this tasty revolution than at Tapzuid. Before we get to the beer though, we have to talk about the decor of the place, because it’s nearly as impressive. Benches made from dark wood, striking black-and-white tiles, dangling illuminated bottles, and an Art Deco-esque maze-like pattern on the wall that spells out the name of the venue all combine to create a stylish and utterly unique space, definitely putting you in the mood for a brew.
Home to 25 taps at last count, Tapzuid focuses like a laser on Dutch brews, with many of them being brewed within a short cycle from the venue. Everything from city-famous craft breweries to upstarts get a look in on the menu, and there’s also a fine line of cocktails to balance out all the hops, even though our favorite still manages to slip in some beer as it is a combo of jenever, lemonade, and lager.  Bar bites are plentiful as well (think gourmet burgers and nachos), all created with complementing craft beer squarely in mind.
