The hippest table in town and recently reopened after renovations. There can be few more gorgeous settings: a neoclassical building in ancient Ambelokipi, with a magnificent interior and an even more sumptuous courtyard. Famed chef Chris Peskias, whose inventive cuisine includes such delights as double-cooked lamb, grouper with risotto and octopus scented with truffle oil, runs the kitchen. Bar-goers need not worry though: you can come here just for drinks and get to choose from two exquisite spaces, including the golden-lit garden where trees and shrubs stand watch and drinks are ferried to your table like you’re some all-conquering emperor. And hey, wasn’t Balthazar?
