Roof 409 is one of the newer bars on the Bangkok nightlife scene. Sitting on Mercury Villes fourth floor on an extravagant terrace, the stylish bar is a place to relax with friends and enjoy some signature cocktails, imported beer and French inspired dishes.
The view, which is pretty spectacular even just four floors up, is a huge highlight when visiting the bar. You can snap a quick selfie with the iconic eye-level BTS train as it rattles past on the skyline. Greenery doesn’t go a miss here, which helps create that cosy and intimate atmosphere.
The range of cocktails is endless, which means you can ask for a spontaneous cocktail and get just that. While you’re there, try their long island ice-teas which are infused with lemon! Matching the food menu-they have a range of imported beers from Belgium. Don’t forget that Thursday is mojito day! The menu, which is categorised as a French ‘bistro’ is filled with traditional cuisines (and the highly recommended steamed and foiled seabass.) There are also daily specials, which consist of none other than burgers and chicken nuggets. The lunch menu at Roof 409 is set at a reasonable 240 baht.
While during the summer months the terrace is ideal, if the weather falters, there is always the impressive inside restaurant. With comfy seating and sparkling white tiles, the inside bar is fully stocked for any occasion. Photo credit – https://www.facebook.com/Roof-409-Bar-Bistro-1486634154939909/photos
