Pacifico has been around for a while. While Beirut is known round the world for it’s vibrant nightlife, this wasn’t always the case. Pacifico was a pioneer, one of the first places to open in Monot back in the 1990s. It has a lively Latin vibe with a menu of Caribbean, Cuban, Mexican and Haitian dishes. It’s a friendly, vibrant place with bags of character and it’s easy to see why and how it’s lasted as long as it has. The walls are colourful, pale yellow and bright red. The drinks sing. Their fruit margaritas are fresh and tasty (and so, so easy to drink) and the food is good too. Try the fajiatas, that’s if you haven’t loaded up on nachos first. Music is a big part of the atmosphere with Cuban, jazz, and Latin all on the soundtrack. The service is slick and on-the-ball. This place has endured with good reason.
