Salt n Bone

One of Berlin’s first true Gastrobars, Salt n Bone has taken the city by storm by offering something unique in the German capital: great craft beer and cocktails combined with classy – yet fun – pub food. Dangling exposed bulbs and ambient low lighting welcome you into Salt n Bone, making it immediately evident how well they have pulled off the Gastrobar theme. While the design of Salt n Bone is without a doubt on-point, it’s the menu of beer, food, and cocktails that seal the deal here. As far as beer is concerned, everything from Stouts, Porters, Smoked Beer, Lambics, Ales, Farmhouse Ales, and Wheat Beers are on offer, in addition to the best-of-the-best of the German classics. Salt n Bone loves to showcase local breweries, and you’ll typically find one or two on draft along with an international brew. Cocktails are as revered at Salt n Bone and are made with homemade infusions and syrups, with the Cucumber Fizz – premium gin, muddled cucumber, soda, sugar, and lemon – and the Mexican Two Way Burner – tequila, house chili ginger syrup, lime, and zesty ginger beer – being two of the standouts. Pub food like piled-high pumpkin, black bean, and jalapeno cheese sauce potato skins and a range of locally sourced smoked meats and homemade sausages have been specifically chosen to pair with the beer and cocktails and will have you leaving Salt n Bone beyond grateful that the Gastrobar has finally arrived.
