It’s an easy one to miss. This inconspicuous spot, hidden behind a normal-looking door with a bell you ned to ring, is one of Berlin’s cooler cocktail spots. The décor is low key and low-lit, red curtains and a warm bronze glow about the place. Head man Ricardo Albrecht knows a thing or two about cocktails as though his bartenders and this place offers up a superb selection of drinks. The interior is peppered with fat, tan leather armchairs into which you can sink. The bar serves classic long drinks made with top ingredients as well as contemporary twists on old favourites. Drinks are served in vintage glassware and the attention to detail is strong. The service is spot on and the place boasts a really appealing atmosphere which will make you want to linger long over your cocktails. Pleasingly free of gimmicks, this is a classic bar in every sense.
