The Elbow Room
May 11, 2018
Offspring of its London mother ship, this Elbow Room is on one of Bristol’s most photogenic streets, rising from Cathedral Green and the docks to the University and Clifton. It’s already attracted the local ‘Paul New-men’ who take to the tables day and night. But for its sleek, laid back lounge feel, booth seating and picture window out onto the street it’s worth going to even if you don’t pick up a cue. Upstairs there’s a dance floor and you’ll find the best of local talent twisting vinyl most weekends. There are beers and spirits to hand and a good selection of eats. Rags wise – perhaps more Lonsdale revival than Jimmy Choo, but only buy a whisker.
