Frank’s is a welcome addition to the Buenos Aires bar scene. This hip, speakeasy-style space requires a password in order to gain entry. Once you’ve entered your digits in the telephone booth that doubles as a doorway, you’ll find yourself in a handsome, low-lit space. The drinks come care of dapper bartenders and while they know how to knock out the classic, it’s their dark rum you’ll want to try. Their Beija Flor, a rum and Campari-based punch, is also worth your attention. The atmosphere of the place somehow manages to be simultaneously clandestine and achingly fashionable, thanks in part to the glamorous Argentine crowd.
