Hemisphere

Hemisphere is a venue designed to make a mark, to show the competition what’s what. Everything about it is impressive. Up on the 31st floor of the Absa centres, the views are amazing. The interior isn’t too shabby either: handcrafted tiles and fibre optic lighting above a striking oval bar. The music is retro but not cheesy and the drinks are creative and well-made, as befits a place that seems to appeal more to the over 25s. Smart, classy and visually rich, this place is one of Cape Town’s best. The door policy can be strict so be sure to dress up accordingly.
