The building in which Eduardo’s Enoteca is set (an old theatre in Chicago’s Gold Coast district) gives a little gravitas to any soiree you might enjoy there. From the reclaimed wood tables to the exposed rafters along the ceiling, Eduardo’s Enoteca is the perfect replica of an intimate, romantic Italian wine bar. Add to that the twinkling light-strung windows and sunny terrace out front and you have the perfect place to enjoy a light bite or glass of good wine.
Speaking of wine, Eduardo’s Enoteca prides itself on its long list of small-production wines, sourced mostly from Europe (with an obvious heavy emphasis on Italian vineyards). If you’re unsure which to choose, there are flights available in red, white, rose and sparkling. There’s also a fairly impressive international craft beer list, along with a selection of cocktails that change with the seasons. Some of our favorite creative concoctions have included The Grass Is Greener (lemongrass, grapefruit, gin, prosecco and wheat grass), the Patty Peppermint (vanilla vodka, white and dark chocolate, peppermint schnapps and a candy cane rim) and the Ghost Story (orange zest, honey, lemon, mezcal, tequila and Italian aperitif).
If none of those float your boat, Eduardo’s Enoteca can also whip up a mean freshly-squeezed juice fruit & vegetable juice or a spicy Bloody Mary to accompany their brunch menu. The food at Eduardo’s Enoteca includes a selection of Italian antipasti, sharing platters, Neapolitan-style pizzas and pastas, along with seasonal specials that focus.
