Roof on The Wit
May 11, 2018
The rooftop bar at The Wit exudes city chic. It would be pretty cool in any capacity but with downtown views like those it’s almost off the scale.
The Wit itself is a hip and glamorous spot and its year-round rooftop bar has become a favourite with stylish Chicagoans. The sleek interior is all black and white minimalism and floor-to-ceiling windows, while the terrace is the place to be on warmer evenings as the sun is setting.
The cocktails are spot on and there’s a small but inventive array of bar food on offer (if you’re hungry, then their fire-baked pizzas are the only way to go).
Insider tip: At peak times, particularly at the height of summer, the place can get mobbed so it’s wise to go early to avoid the queues.
