This latest River North spot from Brendan Sodikoff, the man behind Gilt Bar and Maude’s doe s a nice line in things carnivorous, as the name suggests. Billed as a “traditional American steakhouse with a European influence”, it also offers hand-cut pasta and an abundance of superbly fresh seafood. It’s sleek and urban with tufted leather couches and lots of exposed brick. There’s a spacious bar area, with a predominantly scotch-based cocktail list where you can sip a Lillet rosé martini and it’s also worth checking out the romantic, low-lit upstairs parlour.
