The perfect place for cocktails, creative bar food, and live sports in Chicago's River North, Highline Bar is bound to the the highlight of your night.

A slick modern sports bar and lounge in Chicago’s ultra cool River North neighborhood, Highline has quickly become a highlight on the Second City’s bar scene.  The first forray into this trendy Chicago district by a beloved family of local taverns, Highline is the perfect place for a bite and drink at any time, each and every day of the week. Lunchtime features a fun and fresh menu (Korean steak tacos & sriracha chicken sliders to name a couple) during the week while boozy brunch takes over at the weekends, including a Sunday all-you-can-eat offer. In the evenings, the vibe is ‘sleek sports bar’ (think parquet floors and wooden-slatted walls balanced out by assorted industrial touches) as two dozen TVs complete with a state-of-the-art sound system broadcast the big game while proper cocktails are poured.   While there’s certainly a lot to love about Highline, it’s the drinks they’re dishing out that leave us the most impressed. Cocktails like the Sage the Elephant (premium silver tequila, Italian aperitif, grapefruit, and blood orange-kissed sparkling water) and the Peach Pounder (peach vodka, French liqueur, lemon, and white grape juice topped with frozen grapes) show off craftsmanship, while both the Margarita Granada (pomegranate-kissed tequila and lime) and Rosé All Day (sparkling rosé and peach vodka) sharing pitchers are just plain fun. They also love the Moscow Mule here, even offering a tableside ‘build-your-own’ service. In addition, a fantastic range of craft beer is doled out on draft and in ice cold cans, and there’s even a quality range of world wines.
