Strom Bar is an art deco style cocktail bar located in Copenhagen. The bar resides on a road with bright colourful buildings which this city is famous for. Painted a stately terracotta, this bar definitely will not go unseen.
Soft lighting fills the space creating a serene ambience, perfect for a chilled out evening. The bar serves an array of modern cocktails with a twist, but our personal favourite is the Geranium Gin & Tonic. Deliciously satisfying and beautifully served with pink Campari spherical ice. A quirky touch to the bar are napkins that you can write on. With line spaces to write your name and “superpowers”, and checkbox options such as I think you’re pretty or interesting. Which is a nice little ice breaker for their customers.
In the summer Strom Bar sets up “Terrace Catalan” which is the terrace of the bar. An urban chic space with graffitied walls and large green potted plants. The menu slightly differs from the main bar menu, serving up Cava (Spanish wine), classic cocktails and charcuterie platters.
P.S. the Cecina de Leon is to die for, Strom Bar was nominated for “Best International High Volume Cocktail Bar” in Tales of a cocktail 2016 and it isn’t hard to see why.
