Victor Tango’s is a convivial cocktail bar and eatery and a real contender for the best bar in Dallas. The interior is standard issue urban chic: bare brick walls and beamed ceilings coupled with black leather banquettes and a marble-topped bar. Vintage cocktail shakers perch atop the latter and the bar does a nice line in well-made, old school classic drinks as well as serving a range of microbrew beers. Their food offerings are also a cut above the norm and the kitchen serves an array of small plates and bar snacks for communal nibbling and booze absorption. Their lobster sliders are particularly yummy as are the tuna nachos. It’s a good hangout for groups who want above par food and drink in lively surroundings without too much fuss and formality, and the layout makes it the ideal spot for chilling out with co-workers or friends.
What their peers say
“Texas Roadhouse meets Gastropub meets Cocktail Lounge and somehow it works beautifully! Dallas’s longest bar is packed to the gills nightly with D-Town’s finest scrambling to get their mitts on some deliciously uncomplicated Southern Fare (do not miss the chicken and waffles!) served alongside an outstanding rotation of hard to find craft beers, and meticulously crafted mixed drinks. Only in Texas my friends!” Ryan Magarian
