- Great food

The unique Acorn bar sits comfortably in a prime location overlooking the beautiful mountains. You can enjoy an ever changing menu of small plates as well as a brilliant and innovative drinks menu.
As the sister restaurant to Boulders OAK you can definitely expect good things from Acorn.
Their chef Steven Redzukauski has over fifteen years of experience in the culinary industry so he knows what makes good food. Their focus at Acorn is not just ordinary food either, they incorporate the oak fire oven that is the heart of their restaurant. Not only does their rustic menu offer incredible food but they have a brilliant mixologist (Bryan Dayter) who works endlessly to mix and create the best cocktails around.
Acorn boasts an extensive range of wines, beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic specials. Their cocktails are definitely one-of-a-kind, mixed and created in house. We recommend going for the ‘Across the Mediterranean’ cocktail which contains Gin, Bonal, Contratto Bianco, liquor and lavender bitters!
Interestingly their thirty seat mezzanine that overlooks the view of the mountains contains ‘emeco’ seating, which are chairs made from recycled coca cola bottles! The quirky theme shines throughout, especially with the marble table tops, wooden banquets and graffitied walls.
Their seasonally changing menu only uses foods that are sourced locally. With an open kitchen, it is easy to see the skills of their chefs who cook up some delicious flavours. In particular we suggest you try the oak grilled pork belly BLT that comes with sambal aioli, avocado, green roasted tomatoes and fried egg.
