Adega Camoens

This swish little nightspot is part of the glamorous Taj Exotica Hotel. Located in the lobby, Adega Camoens is a great place to go to hear live music as they often have bands playing. When the stage is bare, a DJ works the room, keeping people moving. The décor is relatively elegant with framed black-and-white photos of movie stars adorning the wood-paneled walls (and tying in with their popular Hollywood nights). Weekends are the best times to visit for some serious dancing; but it’s quieter during the week when people come to relax with a cocktail or a cognac, or maybe a cigar from the large humidor. Decent bar bites are available if you feel hungry and the atmosphere is never less than stylish with a touch of old world cool.
