Bhoga is a smart new bar and restaurant run by the talented Niclas Yngvesson and Gustav Knutsson – which serves seasonal Scandinavian cuisine with an international twist. Since opening it’s already picked up a number of awards as well as a loyal following. It’s principally admired for its inventive cooking, the menu featuring dishes such as local beef with artichokes and chimichurri spices, or salted baked celeriac with smoked whitefish roe, dill foam, and brown butter, or coley with beets, bone marrow, and horseradish. Dishes are incredibly well executed and beautifully presented. As good as the cooking is the stylish design and the elegant atmosphere are all equally important parts of the package. There’s a great wine list too – with a large selection available by the glass and wine pairings available as well as a small selection of beers. There’s a separate bar area where you can have a relaxing aperitif, cocktail or a glass of fizz before beginning your dining adventure and it will be an adventure, trust us.
