Quirky, crowded pub-club set on a cobbled street in Ottensen. A wood and glass and red stucco façade flanked by trees and plants greet you at the entrance, and you might think you’re walking into some starving artist’s private work space. Once inside the effect continues. A shower curtain covers the door, tables are made from enamel sinks and lamps fashioned out of shower-heads light up the gloom. The crowd is a mix of students, arty types and clubbers, who come for the loud techno, house and drum n bass sounds. We come for the hip-trashy décor and the fine drinks, which include cocktails, long glass classics and pricey champagne. How do those students types and starving artists afford the liquor? Who cares?
