Funky B

Funky B has been entertaining the Hanoi masses for several years now, regularly undergoing a facelift to keep the already eclectic decor fresh and exciting. Part bar and part nightclub, Funky B is located in the bustling old town, making its streetside tables the perfect place to people-watch while enjoying a couple of drinks.
Head inside and you’ll discover Funky B’s smaller front-of-house bar where locals and visitors alike can enjoy a quiet(er) drink and a shisha pipe with friends. But it’s the larger nightclub which is Funky B’s crowning glory, filled with mirrored walls, dangling cube lighting, palm fronds and birdcages to illicit a real feeling of excitement. Top-name DJs (both local and international) play the latest house music here almost every night. As opposed to the bar area (where most order mixed drinks and cocktails), the nightclub’s focus is mainly on table service. Order up a range of international spirits (whisky, vodka and tequila are the main favorites) by the bottle to enjoy as shots or served with a mixer. Bottled beers are mostly of the Asian persuasion, although there are a couple of international brands thrown in for good measure, and keep an eye out for Funky B’s regular themed nights such as Blue Mondays, when you can buy one, get one free on all blue cocktails (blue margarita, blue lagoon, blue sky).
