No-one goes to The Bank for a quiet night out. The club, which is one of the largest and most popular in Hanoi, is home to three different rooms playing three different types of music (usually via top-name DJs), and features an impressive sound system shipped all the way from London. It’s a place where locals and tourists come to let off steam, dance around their hi-top tables (space is at a premium), down premium spirits and smoke shisha.
The interior of The Bank reflects the party nature of the venue with an array of glittering disco balls, dripping chandeliers and strobing neon lights. Luckily you won’t need much light to be able to read the drinks menu, because the focus here is on bottle service, and therefore the selection is fairly small and targeted mainly to groups (unless you’re planning on taking down a whole bottle of vodka to yourself, which we definitely don’t recommend). Spirits come served with a choice of mixers, but many choose to just go down the shots route – because who wants to bother sipping a tall drink when there’s dancing to be done? Keep your eyes peeled for The Bank’s regular Ladies Night events and happy hour specials, which usually include discounts on drinks.
