Top of Hanoi

On the rooftop of the Lotte Hotel Hanoi you’ll discover the aptly named Top of Hanoi, which commands spectacular views over the city skyline from the 65th floor. Long and narrow in shape, Top of Hanoi immediately makes you feel as though you’ve stepped onto the set of a funky music video, or at the very least into a designer furniture outlet. Pod-like stools and sofas sit alongside sleek white tables and brushed wooden decking to give the whole venue a very minimalistic vibe.
Unique seating arrangements aside, Top of Hanoi is a bar and brasserie that serves up a decidedly Italian-style food menu. Feast on anything from artichoke bruschetta and fried calamari to prosciutto pizza and saltimbocca alla romana (that’s veal fillet wrapped in parma ham and served with a Neapolitan-style tomato sauce to you and me). When it comes to the drinks, Top of Hanoi pairs the food perfectly with an international wine list and a wide selection of premium spirits. Cocktails are a mix of classic and contemporary, with a couple of our favorites being the Brown Derby (bourbon, grapefruit juice and honey syrup) and the Look Out (gin, pineapple juice, lime juice and vanilla syrup). There’s also four different styles of martini and a handful of tasteful shots, while the non-drinkers are spoiled for choice with a range of refreshingly fruity mocktail delights.
