This is a magical place. El Cocinero is an old oil factory converted into a bar/restaurant. It opened in February 2013 and instantly became a trendy place, frequented by many Cuban artists. You enter in a small and intriguing place and climb high steps inside the spectacular chimney to arrive to a very pleasant terrace. White sails as a roof, mix of green AA armchairs and Panton creamy 60’s design chairs and tables below, dark wood tables at the end of the terrace. It creates a very cosy and warm atmosphere. The menu offers beautiful cocktails and the bartender team is very friendly. El Cocinero could be one of the trendiest place in NYC or Berlin or wherever! It is also the magic of Cuba. Cuba always surprises us!
