Nobu is now nothing short of a global brand. The name conjures up images of a celebrity clientele, hard to snag tables, exquisite sushi – particularly the famous black cod and a bill that doesn’t bear thinking about. Located in the Parc Hotel Waikiki, the Hawaii outpost of this famous chain is as swish as its sisters. The David Rockwell-designed interior makes much uses of running water and bamboo to reflect the island setting. The Lounge bar is a destination in its own right, the perfect place to, well, lounge with a cocktail or an aperitif. Be sure to dress up. It’s that kind of place.
