Honolulu-Diamond Head - Kapahulu - St. Louis

Uncle Bo’s is a neighbourhood joint with a little extra something. Smart, stylish and always packed with a hip, young crowd, it’s easy to see why it’s one of Honolulu’s most popular spots. A fairly bland exterior, doesn’t really prepare you for the pretty chic interior, with a potentially chilly black and chrome dining room offset by soft pink lighting, and large bar area where movie footage is played back on widescreen TVs. The food is excellent, small plates with a Southeast Asian spin, and the drinks aren’t too shabby either. It’s a lively place, good for chilling with friends: a keeper.
