The Blue Marlin is set in what has to be one of Ibiza’s most picturesque corners, the glorious stretch of sand that is Playa es Jondal. This sprawling beach complex is made up of a gleaming white bar, a flashy restaurant, and, of course, a club, that regularly plays host to live music events. Their flamenco flavoured Sundays provide an alternative to the constant thud of techno beats. There’s a massage tent, a glorious outdoor deck and even a free boat taxi service. The drinks are mixed with skill and the food is light, summery and accomplished. All these elements together form a brilliant package that few other venues can match: slick, chilled and subtly threaded with hedonism.
