One of the sharpest bars in Krakow, Movida can always be relied on to deliver. It’s a great all day place, good for coffee and snacking in the afternoon. The décor is low key but tasteful with lots of polished wood and glass. As with many European bars, it undergoes a personality shift in the evening and suddenly busts out the funky. The drinks flow and the volume is turned up in the music as people switch their coffee cups for martini glasses (their Polish Spring Punch with cassis and sparkling wine is particularly yummy) and get ready for an evening of revelry. A favourite with the city’s expats but also popular with locals, it’s a stylish and vibrant place with a winning atmosphere. Their mulled wine is also worth a punt, a surefire warmer on a chilly Krakow evening.
