Qba

This Latin-themed bar is one of KL’s coolest. Hidden within the smart, upmarket Westin Hotel, it deals in pre-Castro nostalgia, a highly romantic view of Cuba. Opened in 2003, the bar has an evocative interior, redolent of Havana, lots of wrought iron balustrades and elaborately painted frescoes. Angel statues and deep red curtains add to the atmosphere. Qba is split over two floors: downstairs is the main bar area, upstairs is the grill, where they serve a large menu of excellent Latin American inspired dishes. There is also a separate cigar lounge full of inviting leather couches. Service is slick and professional and the crowd is young and vibrant.
