- ‘Great food’

This place has been a real shot in the arm to the Larnaca bar scene, altogether hipper and more artisanal than most of the town’s other drinking dens. Hidden down a backstreet, Barrel House is a really welcome alternative, serving creative original Gin & Tonics, craft Cocktails, Barrel Aged cocktails, quality drinks and a range of over 100 imported & local craft bottled beers from across the globe including there own made craft beers. Cocktails, which are all made with homemade bitters & liqueurs, include the Barrel House, an innovative, seductive and classy cocktail mixed with a signature blend of rums, and the Doreè, a refreshing blend of gin, homemade whisky liqueur, orange and dried pineapple. The décor is laid back and nothing fancy, in fact it’s kind of homely, which we like, with wooden chairs and tables dotted around the room. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. On the food front there’s a range of small produce cheese & cold cuts to choose from, for some excellent platters and boards to share with friends, but it’s the drinks that really make this place stand out.
