It Bar

A self-proclaimed devilish mix of bar and ‘food joint’, It Bar has brought its unique sense of fun to Leeds and the town’s nightlife scene hasn’t quite been the same since. A place to let your hair down and let loose over one-of-a-kind food concoctions straight off television shows like Man Versus Food and assorted cocktails and beer from around the world, there simply aren’t many out there like It Bar. It Bar comes across a bit brash from the outside, but once inside things are actually much more calm and collected than you’d expect them to be. The decor is kitsch for sure, with vintage metal and a neon sign exalting the bar’s motto  – Eat, Drink, Boogie, Repeat – lining the walls, but glimpses of exposed brick balance it out well. Beer is probably the best partner for the food menu overflowing with giant burgers and wings at It Bar, and they stock plenty of classics on draft like Heineken and Birra Meretti along with four real ales for the hand-pumped fans. The beer selection really takes an upswing though when you take into account the bottle supply stacked in the refrigerator, which is very heavy on craft beer and cider. Over two dozen cocktails are available at It Bar, with funky drinks like the bubblegum mojito a favorite among the fun crowds.
