Jake's Bar & Still Room

This small but endearing Call Lane watering hole has a lot to offer. The décor is simple but warm and inviting, lots of earth tones. The atmosphere is pretty chilled, a good haven from the sometimes oppressive vibe in this part of town. There are plenty of corners for relaxing and having a chat, and, for the early part of the evening at least, you can hear each other speak. Later things get a tad livelier. There’s abundant funky music and sufficient room to have a bit of a boogie as the night progresses. Jake’s is a solid, appealing local bar and one of the best in the area.
