Las Brujas de Cachiche

Las Brujas de Cachiche is one of Lima’s top eateries. It’s a deservedly popular place and, on weekdays, people flock there for the large selection of traditional Peruvian dishes available on their lunch buffet. In the evenings a more formal atmosphere prevails with smartly suited diners tucking into well made and super-tasty cuisine. The restaurant is housed in an attractive, sprawling country house; the dining room is on the ground floor and upstairs you’ll find the Huaringas bar which specialises in Pisco-based cocktails. The room itself is warm yet elegant with deep red walls and an abundance of wood; one can easily imagine lingering here with a drink or three well into the night as jazz music glints and glides in the background. Naturally there are some adventurous Peruvian bar snacks available if you need something savoury to accompany your Pisco Sour.
