A vibrant taste of Japan, dinner and cocktails at Tokio is as close as you are going to get to The Land Of The Rising Sun without boarding a plane.

Bringing the flavor of Japan’s most famous city to Cyprus, Tokio is home to both tantalizing tastes of Japanese food and exquisite cocktails that capture the essence of the East. A true feast for the eyes, Tokio resides inside an edifice that looks as if it was simply picked up in the Far East and shipped to the Mediterranean. A bevy of bright reds, bamboo, lush greenery and temple-esque design features will have you thoroughly impressed before you even enter the door; and have you craving more.  Once within Tokio’s walls, the bar beckons with a line of cocktails like non other in Limassol. A few of our absolute favorites (it was hard to choose, we assure you) are the Sennin Forever Young (premium gin mixed with gardenia-infused honey, fresh grapefruit, pineapple juice, and Japanese ponzu), the Secret (rested tequila shaken with berries, basil, juices and a ‘secret’ blend of Japanese spices), and the epic Fuji Mountain (premium vodka shaken with pineapple juice, raspberry puree, caramel and shichimi spice, served as seven shots with paprika dusted on the rim of each). These cocktails are poured alongside dozens more and an a nearly endless list of spirits (including a few Japanese whiskies), wine, liqueurs, and of course, sake. All tipples are poured in an elegant and authentic setting featuring dark slatted woods and cherry blossom-inspired artwork, much like the kind you would expect to see inside a Japanese friend’s home, and in a way, that is precisely what Tokio has become to Limassol.
