An arty and super-cool lounge bar with a laid-back vibe, Bicaense is popular with a youthful and stylish, but appealingly unpretentious, Portuguese crowd. Located on a rather steep street, it’s definitely worth the stagger; the quirky interior is quite something. Split into two rooms, the first is bedecked with clocks and projectors whilst the second is filled with giant beanbags. Multi-coloured lights add to the lively atmosphere. It’s a great spot to hit before visiting Lisbon’s clubs, the resident DJs pumping out hip house to really get people in the mood for dancing.
