A hidden bar which fuses the best of British and Asian culture, Blind Spot is a decadent and sultry hideaway for lovers of good cocktails and good company.

A true hidden bar in every sense of the word, Blind Spot is located behind a faux loose-leaf tea counter within the St Martin’s Lane Hotel in London. This may seem odd at first glance, but actually relates to the British/Asian fusion theme of the whole venue, including signature cocktails inspired by flavors of the tea trade and servings of colonial-style snacks. Drinks and food have been created by a highly-skilled mixologist/chef creative team, and pair perfectly with the decadent and seductive atmosphere of the whole bar. From the ambient gold lighting, to the sleek leather seats and mosaic-tiled bar, every inch of Blind Spot screams “sophistication”.

The creative cocktails come with mouth-watering names, like the Buttered Cinnamon Daiquiri (butter and cinnamon-washed rum, fresh lime and sugar), the Cream Soda Cooler (tequila, saffron, orange flower water and soda) and the Scotch, Coconut and Green Tea Old Fashioned (whisky, coconut, green tea and bitters). There’s also an impressive range of classic concoctions (like the gin fizz, sazerac and manhattan), all of which pair perfectly with Blind Spot’s bar food menu – equally-as-droolworthy as the drinks – like the Cuban Cornish Pasty, Shiitake & Smoky Tofu Spring Rolls and the Seared Scallop & Pineapple Carpaccio. Blind Spot regularly plays host to international DJ sets, but the atmosphere here is never loud or rowdy; instead it offers the perfect place to rendezvous with your nearest and dearest in the classiest of settings.
