London-City and East London

Part of a fun family of Australian-inspired coffee/brunch/cocktail bars in London, Beany Green has become the place to go for a perk-up or a drink-up in the City, regardless of what time your watch reads.
Bringing a bit of Australia into absolutely everything they do, Beany Green’s appeal begins with the design of the cafe. Situated inside the recently re-invented Broadgate Circle, it features a striking mix of slick white ceramic tiles, light woods (that really make their turquoise coffee mugs pop) and a kaleidoscopic range of chairs. Our favorite touch may just be the sign that simply says ‘Beany’ in the window, with each letter adorned with a glamorous Hollywood-style light bulb and streaked a different splash of the rainbow.
The fun starts early here (6am on weekdays), with a focus on the coffee, as it is ground, tamped, and poured with the precision you’d expect to see during a morning in Melbourne. Fresh smoothies, juice, and Aussie-style pastries are also on hand to help start your day right, but as the day progresses, the cocktails and beer become the star.
A cracking collection of craft beer and cocktails will have you lingering long after work, with the suds being sourced from a local brewery and the drinks made with a flair for creativity and fresh flavors. A couple of their signatures are the revitalizing Five A Day (premium vodka, fresh spinach juice, cucumber, celery, apple & mint, and activated charcoal syrup) and the punchy Blue Bell Sour (amaretto-infused blueberries, freshly pressed apples, citrus, and egg white). At the weekends, a full Aussie Brunch is served, available with bottomless bloody marys and prosecco on the side. Yes, you read that right: bottomless.
