Dalloway Terrace
London-City and East London

Located in Bloomsbury – though you probably could have guessed that from the name – the Dalloway Terrace is the outdoor bar of the Bloomsbury Hotel on Great Russell Street. Designed to work well whatever the weather, the bar is heated, there are blankets in which to wrap yourself and it’s pretty well insulated from the elements, the interior studded with flowers and greenery, creating an oasis in the middle of the city. There’s a great range of cocktails to choose from including a range of interesting non-alcoholic options made in conjunction with the Rare Tea Company. The Signature drink, the Mrs Dalloway, is a mix of Champagne, Courvoisier VSOP, sugar, and Angostura bitters, while the Lavender Collins is fragrant and summery. The food menu includes bar snacks like arancini (yummy Italian rice balls) with wild mushroom, black truffle and mozzarella, crispy polenta chips and Cornish crab toasts. It’s an excellent spot for afternoon tea, too, with all the dishes inspired by original recipes from the 1920s & 1930s.
