Dirty Martini Monument
London-City and East London

The latest outpost of Dirty Martini – who already boast branches in Covent Garden and Mayfair – is a real boost for the bar scene of the area.
It’s a stylish, spacious and sophisticated venue which also works well as a space to stop off for after-work drinks. The interior is sleek and modern, accented with blue and orange. There’s bold, splashy wall art, red banquettes and a cool, curved ceiling.
Obviously Martinis are a big part of the drinks list with a Mango and Chilli Martini and a Passion Fruit Martini sounding particularly appealing. The new Lavender and Honey Martini sounds exciting and you could always opt for the classic or dirty versions too, the latter laced with olives and thyme.
From the list of twisted classics, we’re drawn to the Cucumber and Dill Sour, a refreshing mix of gin, cucumber water, fresh dill, vanilla salt, lemon juice, egg white, and Belvoir elderflower cordial. The Diva, a blend of Beefeater 24 Gin and Amaretto shaken
with fresh lemon juice, fresh pineapple juice, orgeat syrup, all topped with Prosecco sounds like our cup of gin too.
There’s a well put-together list of wine and fizz as well as a tempting array of bar bites to see you through the night: mini-burgers, chilli-crumbed calamari and various platters.
Their happy hour offers are worth checking out – because nothing says happy quite like half-price martinis.
