London-City and East London
May 11, 2018
Bringing the flavors of an East End brasserie to the heart of London’s business district, Eastway is a true feather in the cap of the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel.
As far as design, Eastway is the utmost of classy (think dark woods, pine green columns, and brown leather chairs), but it still manages to remain a comfortable space, and that is its magic. Whether you want to grab lunch or dinner, brunch on the weekend, or imbibe in the evening, Eastway presents the perfect space for it, and speaking of those drinks, we absolutely love their style.
Both the seasonal choices (recently starring a Gardener with white rum, creme de banana, lemon juice, almond syrup & fresh rosemary) and signature cocktails show off a flair for skill and style. For the signature Bison Fire, they infuse premium vodka with chilli, then balance the spice out with the refreshing flavor of fresh strawberries and both apple and lime juice. You’ll also find a full repertoire of fine beer and wine from around the world (including plenty of bubbles), aperitifs, and after dinner liqueurs on offer. And as far as the aforementioned weekend brunch is concerned, Eastway offers bottomless bloody marys and mimosas alongside their fine fare, and we can’t think of a better reason to push checkout off until Monday.
