Goodman Canary Wharf
London-City and East London
May 11, 2018
The third branch of the acclaimed Mayfair steakhouse has set up shop in Canary Wharf. When it comes to serving big hunks of quality cow, nobody does it better (except perhaps Hawksmoor, but it’s a close run thing). The meat is well-sourced and impeccably cooked to the order in their special charcoal ovens. The wine list is vast and ranges from a reasonably priced Pinot Grigo to a bottle of 2004 Screaming Eagle for just under two grand. The Goodman experience is not cheap but it’s everything a US-style steakhouse should be. They do a mean martini too, but the meat is really the thing here.
