London-City and East London

With a simplistic design that features a gorgeous wood panelled bar, hanging plants and a glittering disco ball, the Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen is becoming one of the most popular new small music venues in the city. With its large terrace and open front, this is the perfect place to sip a cocktail on a warm summer evening. As night falls, the back room is home to regular club nights and a selection of live music by a mix of household names and up-and-coming stars. Tickets are available at very reasonable prices with gigs ranging from £6 to around £15. This bar truly is a Hoxton staple.
For drinks, the Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen offers a well-crafted selection of cocktails, prosecco, wine and beer. Why not try a Don’t Go to Dalston? It’s a tangy mix of vodka, raspberry, lemon and prosecco. Or maybe something a little more experimental with a Drop Beets Not Badgers (a tantalising mix of premium scotch, beetroot, rosemary, kumquat jam, apple juice and lemon)? The bar also offers a selection of shooters and hot shots, also described as shooters with an orange buffalo kick. They are the perfect pre-gig drink. If you get a little peckish, the bar offers a selection of sandwiches and wings. Wings here are the star of the show, coming with a range of sauces, sides and even a wing roulette. Are you up to the challenge? Whether it’s a relaxing drink on the terrace, a delicious after-work dinner and drinks or an up-and-coming new band, this bar and restaurant and music venue has it all.
