London-City and East London

Conceived as a cocktail bar that makes all who enter its doors feel like they are at home (regardless of where they come from), MAP Maison has succeeded to become one of London’s most alluring international cocktail dens.
Before you even get the chance to be blown away by their array of cocktails, MAP Maison steals your breath with spectacular design. Vibrant Spanish tiles sit next to plush French-inspired furniture, all against a backdrop of antique maps and a bar that looks straight out of a Victorian apothecary, complete with hanging copper mugs and colorful herbs and potions in jars. Basically, it feels like the sort of place dashing globetrotters would meet and swap adventurous stories at, and we’re guessing that’s exactly what they were going for.
As far as the drinks are concerned (and let’s face it, we’re all here for them), MAP Maison presents a menu full of exquisitely mixed and stunningly presented tipples; a collection that feels far more ‘delicacy’ than ‘drink’. A few that illustrate the point of their inventiveness are the Black Sea (premium vodka, mint, blackberries, cranberry Juice, olive oil and lemon served in a gorgeous vintage bowl with squid ink seaweed and salmon roe on the side), the Salted Almond (cachaca, kombucha, almond syrup, lemon juice, celery bitters and salt), and the Eu and Me (blood orange, premium tequila, agave, ginger and eucalyptus foam). Afternoon Tea is a big deal here too, as their version is luxurious and loaded with bubbly libations, but don’t let that trick you into thinking MAP Maison is a mellow spot, as DJs from around the world drop beats on the regular, keeping the vibe on the fun and festive side.
