London-City and East London

The Refinery is a good looking bar and no mistake. Glass, glass and more glass making for an airy and inviting space, located below the Blue Fin building. The interior boasts the usual exposed pipe-work and wooden floors, standard issue urban-industrial stuff, but the abundance of light give it a fresh edge. The bar boasts a great range of beers and a above-average wine list featuring some pleasingly left-field choices. Despite its size, the bar also features a number of cozy corners and its location makes it ideal for popping into after a visit to the Tate Modern.
