Dishoom in Covent Garden, London is a bustling and lively space. Incredibly popular, often with queues out the door. Delicious food and cocktails.

Located at a prime spot in Covent Garden, Dishoom has been designed to emulate the Irani-style cafes of 1960s Bombay. The interior is stylish and slick in a manner that suggest a brand roll-out is on the cards, but it’s also bright and colourful, with magazine covers and photos on the walls adding atmosphere. It’s a bustling, lively space and is open all day, so you can pop in for an Indian style breakfast with a cup of chai on the side in the morning if you wish. Its proximity to many West End theatres means it’s popular in the evenings and is fast becoming a favourite place to drop by for a quick bite and a few drinks before a seeing a show. They serve chilli cheese toast if you just want a snack or more substantial mains if you want to fill your belly. Their salted lassis are spot on and on the cocktail front they make a mean chai-infused mojito. Their St Martin cocktail, a mix of pomegranate, chilli syrup and gin is particularly wicked.
