Amaranto, the new bar and restaurant at the Four Seasons, is as plush as they come. Split into lounge, bar and dining area the venue is polished and opulent, decked out in black and red. The bar is warm and clubby, with a cluster of tables and chairs besides a dramatic glass wall of wine bottles. The lounge is airier and has a (comparatively) casual kind of elegance while the dining room serves excellent Italian food, the chef having previously worked at the acclaimed Locando Locatelli. Service is as slick as you’d expect for a 5 star hotel though atmosphere-wise it can feel a bit chilly.
