MEATliquor simply screams London edge. Taking the classic institution of burgers and beers to a whole new level. With queues that snake down the street, this Deep south-inspired food and cocktail joint is an absolute must visit.

The next innovative project of Scott Collis and Yianni Papoutis, the brains behind the Meatwagon burger van and the #Meateasy pop-up burger bar, they combine true American flavours with perfectly crafted beverages for an eating and drinking experience you will not forget.

Once you head inside, the atmosphere is almost raucous. This is not a place for clean eating. Their burgers, which are topped with everything from chilli con carne to marinara sauce and mozzarella, will leave you in a blissful carb coma. But burgers aren’t the only thing on the menu, waiters wade through the crowds of food lovers to deliver specials such as the ‘The Littlest Hobo’, a hotdog that features their hobo beer cheese sauce or a Jägermeister ripple ice cream. For those with a competitive streak, why not try the MEATliquor Triple Chilli Challenge?

Alongside these tasty treats, MEATliquor serves up expert mixology. The ‘Fallen Angelita’ is a tantalising mix of tequila, triple sec, honey, a citrus twang and the Yorkshire T, which falls in with the recent trend of tea-based cocktails, it is crafted with tea infused gin, pink grapefruit juice, lemon and soda water. Or, for a drink which truly packs a punch, how about the Game Over? Limited to two per person, the Game Over is a dramatic mix of vodka, gin, rum, tequila, triple sec, pisang ambon, absinthe and fresh lemon juice, finished off with tropical Red Bull. MEATliquor promises a fun-filled night of great food and exotic drinking. What are you waiting for? Check out this bar in Soho and try it for yourself.
