The Stoke Newington Tea House
London-North and Northwest London

It’s hard to find another venue that ticks as many boxes as The Stoke Newington Tea House. Sunday roasts? Check. Dog friendly? Check. Beer garden? Check. Extensive loose leaf tea selection? Check. Ok, that last one may seem a little out of place in what is essentially a posh pub, but The Stoke Newington Tea House is extremely proud of its tea blends, and even whips up its own homemade iced tea (and its infamous alcoholic sister, the Long Island Iced Tea).
Aside from the pub, with its mosaic-tiled floors and shiny beer taps, The Stoke Newington Tea House is also home to a “secret” wine bar in its basement, where low-lighting and cheese boards abound. The food menu upstairs is all hearty pub classics (ham, egg & chips, sticky toffee pudding, and the aforementioned Sunday roast dinners with oversized Yorkshire puddings) and there’s also several weekly specials. In addition to the range of teas, The Stoke Newington Tea House also boast a great selection of craft beers – perfect for sipping out in the pub’s sunny beer garden or on their rooftop terrace (yep, they have a roof terrace too). There’s also a range of classic cocktails (spritzes, bloody marys, martinis) and if you’ve brought along your furry friend, you can even purchase a bottle of Dog Beer especially for them (meat flavoured and non-alcoholic, naturally).
